Banana Slug

Hand built solid in porcelain and hollowed out this slugs hat removes to add water and tea leaves. Hold the tail and pour and have your slug spew your tea.

This Slug is west coast cool, and was submitted with his cousin , Rufus, who is on work away from Europe.

The banana slug was finished with a layer of underglaze and a semi opaque lemon glaze overtop. Rufus was also decorated with underglaze on his face and ears and a blend of two glazes to bring out his texture.
